Go to Full screen with F11 but built in?
Sep 28, 2021
I know this has been asked many times but with limited results. It would be useful to be able to set the player to start in full screen mode to make use of the users full screen. Currently the only method right now is just to give an instruction to the users to hit F11 to show in full screen. When using 16:9 aspect ration on modern monitors and screens it fits perfectly. However, is there a way possible using javascript that automatically "activates" F11 when the course launches? As this stage there should be an Action element for When timeline starts - Go to full screen, or something similar.

Hey there, Darren!
I'll leave this one to the Javascript experts in the community to share ideas, but in the meantime, have you seen this discussion showing how to accomplish this with a button? Hoping it will inspire ideas! 💡
thanks for that. It does work one way but not toggling on and off. I would prefer to wait for a built in Articulate supported function to do this.
Hi Darren,
I have some great news to share! We just released a really cool feature that allows you to add a player toggle to let learners view courses in full-screen mode.
To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find step-by-step instructions here.
