I've searched for a solution to this and not found one yet.
Take a look at the image I've attached. I've placed two copies of the same image side by side. On the right one, I've added the Zoom Picture option. Notice how blurry the right image looks. Why does it get so blurry just by adding the Zoom Picture option? It makes the Zoom Picture option virtually unusable for chart images like this.

Hi Kelly, I'm having the exact same issue. This is occurring with multiple images on multiple slides, all originally created in Adobe Illustrator, exported to PNGs at 300 DPI.
Has a solution been found yet? I am experiencing the same issue as well. I am using the Zoom feature so people can see clearer images of some screenshots that are hard to read. However, when I add the Zoom Picture feature, the images become even blurrier.

One of the bugs we've fixed is:
Applying Zoom Picture to images causes some blurriness.
