How can I web publish with video file format WEBM, WEBA or OGG.

Dec 09, 2021

I have exported project of Articulate Storyline by Web Publishing. All the videos are exported in MP4 format. I converted my project by HTML executable which only provides support for open-source audio and video codecs: WEBM, WEBA, OGG. The Chromium build is not enabled for the MP4 video format (H264 codec), as this format requires licensing. Please help how can I web publish with video file format WEBM, WEBA or OGG.

Unless i'm mistaken, you may not be able to publish into other video formats. I use a quick free open source tool called "ffmpeg" (windows, mac, linux) to convert files without needing to open a video editor or use the adobe suite. If you do have the adobe suite then i'd recommend Adobe Media Encoder as you can set up 'watch' folders and every time a video goes in there it can convert it automatically into multiple formats.

Here is a quick tutorial on using ffmpeg to convert mp4 to OGG and others. https://opensource.com/article/17/6/ffmpeg-convert-media-file-formats#:~:text=This%20also-,works%20with%20videos,-%3A
