This feature hasn't yet been implemented - but we'd love to hear from more users who'd like to see the same thing. You can always share your ideas with us right here. 😁 We take all feature ideas to our team and evaluate them based on the steps here.
I am using the scrolling panel for the first time in a course, but the grey is not very noticable once published. I would have loved to be able to customise the colour too. :(
Thanks Nelia for chiming in here too - always helpful to know a bit more from users about how they'd change or redesign a feature. Feel free to share specifics here or with our Product team here!
There isn't a way to change the color of the scroll bar of a scrolling panel, but thanks for letting us know what you'd like to see! I'll add your vote to this feature request.
I was just looking to see if the color of the scroll bar could be changed and saw that the question had already been asked. Add my vote too please. A color other than gray might be more noticeable to learners.
You can change the colours of the scroll bar if you are using the Classic player. There is an option in the player under Colours and effects called SHOW ADVANCED COLOUR EDITING. Just scroll down to the scroll bar and play around with the colours. It should preview as you change it. Apologies if you only meant in 360 Modern player.
As a new designer in Storyline. My organization has very specific color schema about anything interactive so I being not to use the scroll panel in design because we are not able to change the color. I would love to see this added. It would make some of my interactive slides much better.
Thanks, Anthony for sharing that level of insight here. I'll be happy to pass that along to our Product team as they continue to investigate this feature.
Any particular reason this functionality still has not been added three years after being suggested? With the amount of comments on this thread it's clearly something people want.

Hi John
unfortunately not at this stage - the scrollbars in the player - yes not scrolling panels in a slide.
Thanks, Wendy. I'll submit a new feature request.
has this been resolved?

I was wondering if it is possible to change the colour or transparancy already?

Hello - I would like to add my vote also. I think it would be also helpful if we could customize the style and size of the scroll bar.
Hello, I was also looking for a way to change the color of the scroll bar. It would be very useful.
Thanks for chiming in, Terje, Jordan and Nancy! I'm making sure your voices are heard on this feature request.

I'd love to see an option to change the scroll bar appearance in Storyline 360.

Hi Buel,
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
We are tracking this feature requests and I've adjusted the user impact today as well to reflect another +1 on this one.
I have submitted this feature request as well. Looking forward to design options for the scroll panel soon.
I also vote for being able to change the colour of the scroll bar when using the Modern player.
Came on here to search for this as well, sad to see its not possible. I wanted to change the shape and color to match the software I am simulating.
Please add my vote to this feature request also!
