You need to put the Logo in a specific place, like a sidebar, on the master layout. Then have the discipline not to put anything else on that part of the slide.
You can try adding the image file of your logo to each of your slides, and making sure that the logo is positioned at the very top of the timeline. This will ensure that no other object will appear on top of the object.
If your slides have layers, you can repeat the process for the layers.

It's a raised transparent slide, so it appears on both black and white backgrounds. But images are still covering the logo
