A longstanding problem has existed regarding embedded videos on iPads. If the video includes audio, it (generally) won't play unless a user input (e.g. touching a control on the screen) occurs. The first frame of the video show, but nothing more.
I understand this is an HTML5 design issue, but it is noticeably worse on an iPad than on a laptop/desktop.
I have tried triggering various events and javascript for force the video to play, but no luck so far. Has anyone else found a workaround or solution for this?
HI, Maria. We're already working with your tech, Darwin, on this so no need for me to send you a file. Since this has been a years-long problem I was just hoping that an SL user might have discovered a work around.
