I'm stuck on how to format content for this file. For an example, I created two slides yet have 13 additional statements to add. The statements in my example represent the length of the other 13.
I don't need to keep with this draft and I'm open to all ideas.

I'm quite certain there is nothing wrong with what you are doing. Depending on what you want, you could also use slides instead of layers. Or, here's another idea.
