I have completed quite a few recordings so far and all have worked quite well. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and just tried to initiate a new screen recording and AS3 is recording my entire screen, instead of just inside the red recording window. I looked in the support material and have already un-installed and re-installed the software on my computer. I tried recording again today and am experiencing the same issue. I have attached a screenshot of the error.
I had the same problem and followed the steps above. It did not record the whole screen, just part of it, but misses the target still. I was not prompted to restart, but it did not work properly until I did

Hello Jody!
Sorry, you're running into this issue! We should be able to fix it by adjusting the DPI settings.
Here's how to switch to 96 DPI:
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
If that doesn't do the trick, I'd recommend recording your screen without an external monitor attached.
