I've built a free form pick-one quiz slide, but receive an error when submitting (Invalid answer: You must complete the question before submitting). I'm newish to Storyline and may have made a 'rookie' error but I can't seem to resolve the error.
Thank you for your prompt response. I've attached the file as I think I've correctly specified the correct and incorrect answers on the slides and am not sure how to resolve.
Have a look at slide 1.1 in the attached. I corrected the trigger order for the Submit button so that the interaction is submitted AFTER either the correct or incorrect button have been set to selected. Also, I fixed the trigger for the incorrect option to be executed when ANY (using OR, not AND) of the correct answers is not selected.
Thanks Michael - I really appreciate your work. Just one other quick question if I may... how do I get the slide to progress to the next? Do I need to put another trigger in somewhere? What I'd really like is for this slide to only progress when the student has selected all the correct responses. It's to be used more as a learning tool rather than an assessment tool.
You could increase the Number of Attempts to Unlimited and edit the trigger on the Continue button on the correct layer to jump to the next slide. See attached a revised file.

You mentioned you're using a freeform pick-one slide. In form view, did you specify which slide object is the correct answer?
If so, and you're still seeing that error, would you mind sharing the slide with me so I can take a closer look?
