I wonder if anyone has tried building layers in the Lightbox Slide.
I have built 5 layers in a Lightbox Slide, and now I created a RETURN button on each layer to direct it to JUMP to the Lightbox Slide (the one on which my layers are built), but the button never worked.
Considering this is quite a basic layer-slide interaction, after troubleshooting around, I cannot find exactly what is the reason.
Is it because the layers are built on a lightbox slide?
I tried adding a close lightbox trigger on my lightbox slide-base layer, it directly jumped back to the previous slide where my lightbox slide is based on. Therefore, my layers on the lightbox slide become non-accessable.
Then I tried adding a close lightbox trigger on one of my layer, when timeline starts on this layer, it jumped back to the previous slide again. which means layers on the lightbox slide cannot be triggered.
Because my layers are on the lightbox slide, when I close this lightbox, there is no way to trigger anything on it.
I think Close lightbox will only direct to the previous slide where the lightbox is based on.
Actually I might have made things too complicated by adding two tiers of triggers using lightboxe slides and layers on lightboxe slides.
I could simply use Slide to sub-slides plus layers/lightboxes on sub-slide, instead.
What's more, your advice broadened my mind. Originally, when thinking about returning to a slide, all I think about is jumping to slide. Phil and your advice enlightened me to think in a different direction.

IS the slide set to resume saved state, are you trying to hide the layers, just a little confused at what you are trying to achieve
Hi Phil,
Thank you for asking.
Sorry, new user here trying out all possible interactions, I didn't make myself very clear.
I'm trying to return to a slide (the base layer) from a layer using a simple button (jump to slide).
The slide itself is a lightbox slide.
When I try returning to this slide (base layer), it directly jumps to the next slide, which is also a lightbox slide.
I've checked and sure, the button trigger action and direction are both correct.
That's why I wonder if it is impossible to return to a lightbox slide from a layer on it.
OK that makes sense, you need to add a close Lightbox trigger before the jump to trigger
Follow up on your advice.

Would it work to have a trigger "Hide this layer"? That would put you back to the lightboxed slide.
Thank you Walt!
I tried and it works perfectly.
