KEYBOARD TABBING (TAB) BYPASSES TIMELINE PAUSE TIMELINE -- ACCESSIBILITY ISSUE

Mar 11, 2022

We discovered an unexpected accessibility issue for keyboard tabbing when the timeline is paused.  Learners can bypass the pause by tabbing to a button or text box without selecting either the built-in play button or a trigger play button.  This means visually, layers and hidden elements (hotspots or buttons) won't appear at all, because the timeline is not resumed.

How can we fix this?

Hello Barbara,

I appreciate you chiming in and sharing what you are currently experiencing. I'm not following what you are experiencing. You mention pausing the timeline and then tabbing to a button or text box but not seeing hotspots or buttons?

Do you know what version of Storyline you're using?
