Maintaining Alpha Channel in HTML5 Output Oct 26, 2013 By Dave Cvetanovski From what I understand, this currently isn't possible. Is this something that will be possible in a future release of storyline? Thanks DC

The codec doesn't support alpha channels and since HTML5 utilizes this video type, the alpha channel gets left out. So, unfortunately, it's not something that we can fix on our end. Hope this helps!
