Test score output
I have a stakeholder that needs to see both pre-test scores and post test scores. Is there any way this can be done in Storyline 360?
A lot of what you have said here confirms my thinking. I can set up the print function on results and knowledge check and they will need to send it to the stakeholder or their person for record keeping. If they want better and easy record keeping the testing will need to be done by the LMS.
Thanks

"See" both pre- and post-test scores: Yes, this is possible.
"Report" and / or "record" both pre- and post-test scores: This depends on your LMS.
What we have done is to set up a pre-test with the scores shown. In SL360, use the built-in Results slide and set the option to a "Knowledge Check," which is not reported to the LMS. So learners see their performance, and have the option to print that performance out to a PDF.
At the conclusion of the training, the learners get a "Final Assessment" - which is what reports to the LMS. As with the pre-survey, they can print the results to a PDF.
The issue I think you may run into is that your stakeholder probably wants to track the pre- and post-scores. And that is going to be something that your LMS must handle. We have done this (SuccessFactors) in this way:
- Setting up a pre-test in SL360 as one story/course, and then reporting that out in the LMS
- Requiring all learners to then take a second SL story/course (assigned in the LMS automatically), then having that "final assessment" score reported out separately
- Pulling the reports for both courses (learning activities) and then analyzing the data
So while it's not an "all in one" package, we were able to get the results we needed. But it was a lot of massaging the LMS to get it configured for what we needed to do.
