Multiple audio files in one slide overlapping

Hi there,
I have multiple audio files in one slide. When I play the slide (preview-published) it's fine, but when I pause the seekbar after completion of first audio file, and replay it (using the icon on the right side of seekbar), audio files play together.
If I pause when the third audio is playing, and replay the slide, 3 audios (1,2,3) play at the same time and so on.
One solution is to combine audio files using a third-party software but I'd like to find the a better one.
Could you please share your experience?

Hi Sarah and welcome to Heroes!
Can you tell us a bit more about how you've set up the audio? Are they set to appear at different points within the timeline and that's how they're playing or are they set to play based on a trigger? Are you using the replay/rewind button or clicking within the seekbar? It's worth noting that the rewind button will behave different based on your slide revisiting properties.
It may help us troubleshoot your issue further if you're able to share that one slide with audio here, you can attach it using the paperclip icon to the forums, and if you want to share just the one slide you can import it into a new project as described here.
Hi Ashley,
Thank you for your response,
I have distributed audio files in timeline and they don't overlap on each other. And I don't have any play or pause trigger.
In some of the slides which I don't have any trigger or buttons, I have set to "Automatically decide" when revisiting, and in slides with triggers and buttons I have set to "reset to initial state".
The issue is happening in first view also, not only in revisiting.
When I "pause" the seekbar, and "rewind" it, all of the audio files are playing together.
I will send you the slide from the office tomorrow.
Thanks Sarah for the information and I look forward to receiving the slide to take a closer look.
Dear Ashley,
I have uploaded story file, it is just a sample of how I arrange audio files in storyline in the current project.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for sharing the .story file and allowing me to see your set up. I was able to recreate the behavior within your file, and using a new .story file with audio. It seems that if you use the "resume saved state" the user can utilize the seekbar to scrub back and replay from the beginning but not use the rewind button.
I've shared this issue with our QA team for further review, and I'll post any updates here once they become available although I cannot offer a time frame in regards to the fix.
Hi Ashley, did you find a solution on this issue? I am facing the exact same issue. My audio files are placed on the timeline to play one after the other (without any triggers). When I pause the screen and click Replay, all the audio files play together. Thanks.
Have you tried triggering Audio2 to play when audio1 ends?
Hi Harshad! I do not have an update to share in regards to the issue that was filed with our support team as it is still open. This was related to SL1. Is this what you are using?
I agree with Walt, it would be great to see what you are working with and perhaps add some triggers to better control the behavior.
Thanks Walt and Leslie for replying. @Leslie - Yes, this is regarding SL1. @Walt - My audio2 is not placed immediately after audio1, so can't use that trigger. However, I used 'Stop Media - Audio 2 - when timeline starts' and it works perfectly. So with files with multiple audio files, I just added the same trigger - Stop Media Audio3/4/5 etc - when timeline starts.
Hi Harshad,
I faced this problem in SL1. It is solved for desktop in SL2 but not mobile courses (Html5).
So for all of my courses, I import the first audio file, then open the Audio Editor, insert silence if it is required, then import the next audio for the same slide.
Thanks Sarah.
If anyone can assist it would be great - I'm having the same issue - I only want the user to listen to audio for the rectangle that's clicked - and disabling all other rectangles - and stopping all other audio being played at the same time.
Hello Melika and welcome to E-Learning Heroes 😊
Thanks for reaching out and sharing that you're running into a similar issue.
Do you have triggers on each rectangle to play the correct audio file while pausing the others?
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Thank you for assisting Leslie - I uploaded the file.

2nd file in 2 days - loosing my wits!!
Each slide has its own audio track, no links or triggers, and it doesnt require a pause to hear it in the MP4. I have scoured these files. This one is playing slide 18 over slide 3 then continues the end part. I cant get it to stop. Removed all audio and re-added. Review360 - PERFECTION. MP4 has multiple personalities.
