Hey all, I feel like this is a really dumb question, but is there a way to open more than one storyline file at the same time? I like when I am doing a series to have the original course open so I can see what kinds of styles I created, and reuse elements out of it. Currently when I try to open the original, while I have the current course up, it closes the current one, which makes me think that there is no ability to open two or more storyline files at a time.
Okay I may have just answered my own question: You have to open it from your directory (C://MyFiles/Storyline/MyFileIWant.story) instead of opening it from the Menu in storyline, which causes the original to close.
I often open two instances of Storyline, open a file in each and then copy&paste elements from one to the other. You can also import slides from one Storyline file into another.

Hi Madison! Sounds like you got it figured out I usually keep two open at a time as well Michael.
...or just right click on the icon and open the "Articulate Storyline" in the bottom section.
I have one client for whom I regularly open 5 .story files at a time - it has not fallen over once.

Still, a very relevant post, as I just encountered this exact same thing. Thank you!
