I am trying to record the screen running command line however it is not recording the different text I am typing in. Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know why I only get one data input slide after creating a scene?
You shouldn't be limited to only one input slide per scene when you record. There could be several issues affecting the recording, but here are a few initial tips:
Check that your file is saved locally, as mentioned here.
Update to the latest version of Storyline 360, if applicable.
Try re-recording those steps in a different browser, such as Firefox or IE11, as they report more data to Storyline than browsers such as Chrome.
You can also use the steps outlined here to edit your screen recording after it's been added into Storyline. After trying these, connect with our support team for additional help if you're still running into issues!
