Storyline 360: Location of closed caption in the player

The new version of Captivate has drastic improvements to functionality that caused us to switch to Articulate. Closed Captioning has all the features we have been asking Articulate to improve. Consider evaluating Captivate, our organization is currently doing that. 

It has been over 4 years, since this suggestion was brought up. 
This is a very critical feature to allow our disability and international users to have access to it. 
They cannot see the content. 

Is there any update on the placement of the caption? Thanks

I don't have any updates to share at this time as our development team has been prioritizing other features. I've included you in the feature report and will update this discussion if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.

I cannot give details, but the new Adobe Captivate solves this CC issue. Take a look at the beta if you can.

Any update on this feature. Would love the ability to shift the cc text to another area of the slide as needed. Thank you so much for looking into this.

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 86, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

One of the new features we’ve included: 

• Position captions at the top or bottom of the slide to ensure closed caption visibility and prevent the obstruction of critical course content.

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
