I'm building an escape room for one of our trainers, and they requested that I add a timer. My version either does not have the elapsed time variables (3.49.24347.0) or they have to be added somehow and I don't know how to do that. It's possible that my organization has blocked any other versions.
I tried the invisible layer timer, but that broke all of my other layers, making them transparent and the trainer doesn't like that look.
It's a long shot, but does anyone know of a way to add a timer without the use of the built-in elapsed time variables AND without the use of additional layers?

The current update is 72. It looks like you are on 49. Which is quite a bit behind.

Thanks for reaching out! As Ron mentioned, it might be helpful for you to be working on a more recent version of Storyline 360. We are currently running Storyline 360 version 72 (Build 3.72.29699.0.).
Now all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
