String issue ... ?

Greetings fellow Heroes!

I have a course that was created externally with six chapters in it, has voiceover and a couple of videos (no closed captions). In the SuccessFactors LMS, when you exit the course and go back, on the menu it will only remember that 3 chapters have been completed. It doesn't matter which 3 you complete, but if you complete 4 or 5 chapters, exit, and go back in to the course, only 3 are marked as viewed.

I was told this is to do with the string ... which means nothing to me. The publishing works fine, the course loads, and if you complete it all in one sitting then it marks complete.

Without having to open some file and coding in there that I will have zero understanding of, I am wondering if you have come across this issue before and what you have done to resolve it. It is only this one course where this happens, and as it was created externally I have no idea what they may have done for this issue to happen (however I do have the source file).
