Text Box Glitching

Nov 18, 2020

I'm working on a course and am having a weird issue with one of my text boxes. I want to use a state change so I was trying to up all my info into a single text box to make my life easier but when I change from center justified to left justified the title font (center) suddenly partly disappears. I've included a Peek recording for a visual.

I've tried restarting, saved my file under a different title, copying a text box where my same strategy worked, duplicating the slide and trying it there, making a blank slide, updating my Storyline 360, and a few other things and I can't seem to get it working.

I also checked to make sure there weren't any invisible blocks or anything that could potentially block the text.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Carrie,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing that video! It looks similar to a bug we have reported where:

When using the Center or Right alignment in a text box, the text is not displayed correctly in Edit mode.

I can replicate it, but I've found that it does look as expected during preview and publish. We have it reported to our team and will continue to keep an eye on evaluating how many customers are impacted and its impact on courses.

I'm really sorry that I can't say when this issue will be fixed, but you're in the right place to stay updated on this bug's progress.
