Text entry boxes extremely slow to load

Hi all.

I've got an activity that requires me to have around 60 text entry boxes on a slide (one per letter), but it's taking around 50 seconds for the page to load.

Does anyone know if there's a way to make text entry boxes load quicker? I've noticed a similar loading issue with pages that only have a few text entry boxes (not as long, but still too long). As it stands it's basically impossible to use them, as they slow things down so much.

Any ideas? And is there anything the Articulate programmers can do to make them load quicker?

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 75, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

We've included a fix for this issue:

Layers with multiple text boxes and text-entry fields would load slowly.

To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

This is a known issue (it occurs whether you use a lot of text entry fields or numeric entry fields). A short thread can be found here:

I previously opened a case with Articulate Support and they confirmed it appears to be a reproducible bug. 

I'm not aware of any workaround aside from creating an HTML form to capture the entries and display the form via a web object.

I can confirm that this is an open issue with our team that we are continuing to investigate.

You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
