It is hard to tell without seeing it. Has the object been formatted to have a border? Are you seeing it when previewing or publishing or just when editing.

Could you tell me specifically which Articulate 360 application you are working in when you see this box around your text?
Does the text in question look like the below example with the dotted lines?
Is this text you manually added to one of your courses? Or did you copy the text from some other source? I wonder if it is somehow retaining the formatting from the source you used.
It would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of what you are seeing in order to provide some more context and narrow down the possibilities!

If you imported from PPT sometimes textboxes get a box but they do not publish with a box
