How much of the course has been completed - i.e. in the LMS I need to be able to report that User A has completed 23% of Course 1, whilst User B has completed Course 1 and is 57% through Course 2
How do I get my course to track percentage completion and then communicate this to the LMS.
In addition, I need to be able to track the Quiz Score as well, User A passed Course 1 with 89% or failed with 79% is this possible and how?
In September 2020, we released Multiple Completion Criteria which allows you to track multiple ways that a learner can complete a course but only reports whichever criteria is completed first.
For example, since you want to track the completion of the course by the percentage of slides viewed then I'd recommend choosing that option in the Tracking sections when publishing. Here's what that looks like.
Please let me know if you have additional questions!
Hi, Completion tracking is working with the above information.
But actually, I'm also looking for this course percentage tracking.
For eg.
If we have 100 slides in a course, the learner completed 10 slides, the progress of the course should show as 10% in LMS. and if completes 15 slides it should show 15% and so on..
I have the same question as Suvin but the answers here don't seem to be addressing it. Let me phrase it my way.
Is there a way to show the learner how far they have progressed in the course (% complete) when the course is running as a SCORM file in an LMS (e.g. Moodle)?
This is pretty standard stuff so it's surprising that there isn't a default setting for this and an easy-to-find control for toggling it on and off.
Hi Marie, we are looking for the same course completion percentage display feature that Rise has. Rise displays a % COMPLETE display that tracks the % of the course that has been completed. See screen capture in attachment. This course was published in cmi5 and imported into SCORM Cloud. How can we do this Storyline 360? Thanks.
Lauren, most of the examples in your link have expired and the ones that do show do show how to simply display progress of a course. Can you provide other examples?
Hi Patrick, you can always display the Storyline-variable "Menu.Progress". It shows the learners progress in %. With this variable you can also easily build a progress bar with states.

Hi, Suvin.
As Lauren mentioned above, you can track multiple criteria (quiz results and slides viewed), but only the first completed one will be reported.
Your LMS will show either Complete\Incomplete or Passed\Failed when tracking by slides viewed, depending on the reporting option selected.

Hi, Mark.
The reporting will be specific to how each LMS (in your case, Moodle) interprets the data sent by the SCORM.
Take a look at the discussions below for suggestions (the first one from our community and the second from Moodle's):
I hope this helps!

Hello Patrick!
Thanks for attaching a screenshot! Storyline 360 doesn't automatically display progress like Rise 360, but you can build a progress bar interaction.
Here are a few examples!

Thanks for the reply, Stefan.
Still waiting on a response from Lauren.
Hi Patrick,
Happy to help!
