Updated Version of Storyline issues - how to restore and older version

Mar 02, 2023

Hi,

I dont normally update storyline as it's on my work computer and I need I.T permission to update. I was running an older version (not sure which) up until yesterday, when had I.T update the program.

Since updating, I have tried to work on some of my files created on the previous version but now there are issues with some triggers and the layout of my custom menu has changed (on all my storyline files).

In my previous version of storyline, I did not have any of these usability issues.

My question is, how do I find out what version of storyline i was using previously? and how can I get the previous version back?

Thanks!

Hello Daisy Locate the Articulate 360 software, and next to Storyline 360, you'll see an arrow. Choose Other Versions by clicking on it, and then select the desired Storyline version. If you're not sure which version you previously used, just keep track of the one you're currently installing, and if it doesn't resolve your problem, try the other Storyline version.

However, it is always advised to have the most recent version installed.

Hi Daisy,

Looks like Sandeep is already on top of things!

If you'd like us to take a look at why your triggers and layouts have changed after updating your Storyline 360 version, feel free to open a case with our support team here. If you share a copy of one of your published outputs, we will also be able to determine which version of Storyline was used to publish that course.
