Using an Embedded YouTube Video to Trigger State Change
Hey guys - I'm in the process of troubleshooting a slide for a teammate which includes an embedded YouTube video that should trigger an arrow to move onto the next slide following the video's completion. Unfortunately, the functionality doesn't seem to work and the video never registers as "complete" - see attachment for a screenshot. I'm unsure if the issue is because the seek bar always stops one second early, or if there is some incompatibility between YouTube and Storyline's triggering mechanism.
Does anybody have experience with this issue and know a fix/workaround? We considered setting a hard-coded trigger using the video's runtime, but for it to work properly I think we'd need to freeze the seek bar somehow so users don't skip ahead and are stuck waiting - and it doesn't seem like that's something that can be done on our end.
