Visible line in the stitching of 360° photos

Aug 03, 2023

Hi everyone!

I wondered if I might run this by the community to see if anyone has either found a solution or is actually suffering from the same problem as I am.

I'm using storyline to create a 360° photo tour and have noticed that each of my photos has a very faint but still noticable line that appears at the stitching point from the top of the sphere down to the bottom.

Hopefully I can attach a picture that shows what I'm talking about.

Is this a known problee? Are others experiencing the same thing? And, more importantly, is there a solution?

Hello Gabby,

Happy to help!

I'm no longer able to view the attached image, but for the best results, make sure your 360° image has a 2:1 aspect ratio. You can read more about the ideal resolution for 360° image here:

If using the recommended image specifications doesn't work for you, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
