Portfolio Review Thread/Forum

Jan 09, 2024

Hi All,

Is there a location either here at E-Learning Heroes or perhaps on an ID Slack where designers can post their portfolios for feedback? I'm looking to find out if my portfolio makes the grade in terms of helping me land interviews and, ultimately, a job.

I've done research about what makes an effective portfolio, and I've review quite a few examples (the recent Tips & Examples post was great timing for me). Being new to the space, though, I'm worried that I'm overlooking some error that would put my applications in the discard pile. I feel like the portfolio is solid, but I don't yet have the experience to trust that feeling.

Thankful for any guidance,
Ben

Hi Ben! Thanks for posting your question (and portfolio) here! Some people share their portfolios right here in the Building Better Courses forum and ask for feedback. The E-Learning Challenge link you mentioned is also a great place to share your work. Just make sure you ask for feedback in the comments section at the bottom of the Challenge page

Also, nice work on your portfolio! Just in case you haven't seen it, this is another great resource on what to include in your e-learning portfolio. It includes some great tips like including more variety. Hope that helps!
