We have a situation here where many of the links in our articulate resource need updating. Currently, our Rise 360 is exported as a SCORM and put into our moodle LMS with tracking.
I have a question. If I was to fix the links, export the content with all the changes into a new scorm and put it into the LMS with tracking, would the students lose their tracking history?
Whether or not your students will lose their tracking history depends on how your LMS functions.
Most LMS's will treat the updated course as a brand new course. Students that are in progress will need to restart the course. No student data from the previous course will be carried forward.
A few LMS's provide a choice to replace the existing course and will maintain existing student progress data.
I don't have any experience with Moodle, so I can't tell you how it will behave when you import a new version of your course.
