.dll errors after articulate updates

Hello, the past 3-4 Articulate updates have caused my Microsoft products and SangIt to crash. After an Articulate update, I receive .dll errors while trying to open Word, PowerPoint, etc and SnagIt. I have to reload them. It only happens after an Articulate update on 2 different computers now. Anyone else experience this?

    Hello Arnie, I know this post is a few months old but I also experienced this issue after installing a few updates to Storyline (I received a few popups and one day had the time to actually do them). After the install a few hours later when I tried to use Snagit I discovered the vcruntime140.dll used by that program was suddenly gone and then later found out that the mscvp140.dll file that is used by Adobe Premiere Pro (Msvcp140_codecvt_ids.dll incase anyone else is trying to google search this issue) was also suddenly missing. The timing seems to point to Storyline being the culprit. My company's IT area is repairing my lost files but hopefully after your post there has been review of what the updates may be doing on the back end - i'd hate to have to go thru this everytime I get a prompt to update Storyline.
