3D object rotation using click and drag
Hi all,
Can anyone please tell me how we can rotate the 3D object using click-and-drag interaction along any one axis?
I have seen this in one project here.

Hi Girish, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community!
I'm so glad you're here, and I'm happy to provide some insight on using 3D images in a Storyline 360. First, you'll want to add a 360° image to your course. The 360° image will fill the slide, but you can use its sizing handles to resize it. You can also drag the 360° image to where you want it to display. Next, you can use the built-in 360º image editor to add markers, hotspots, and triggers.
These resources will help you navigate how to edit your image:
- Adding Markers to 360° Images
- Adding Hotspots to 360° Images
- Controlling Navigation in 360° Images
- Adding Accessibility to 360° Images
I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know here or privately in a support case. You're also welcome to share your file, and we'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete!

Also interested in this one. The answer given by Kelly is 360 images from inside out perspective (also a very cool feature). What is meant (i presume) is focussing on an object (like a box) and let the learner grab (click) and rotate (drag) that box.
Anyone?
Hey PetervanderS313!
Happy to help!
It sounds like you're describing 3D Objects in Storyline 360, which is not currently supported. However, we are tracking a feature request to introduce this functionality, and I've included your voice.
We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement that helps!
