Accessibility checker specifically for Storyline/eLearning courses
Hello eLearning Community!
Is there an accessibility checker made specifically to test Storyline/eLearning courses? I've tried Accessibility Insights and WAVE but it seems those were made to test a normal website. A Storyline output is an HTML5 file but it is a self-contained product, not a website.
Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 100, we have included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:
- Improve the accessibility of your content. Get actionable feedback based on key WCAG guidelines to instantly identify barriers like missing closed captions and disabled course playback speed.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.

I agree with everyone here, an accessibility checker would be very useful.

Would love to see a built in accessibility checker added to Storyline 360.
Right now, I am finding the promise of full and complete accessibility is often at odds with the design or features that stakeholders want or within the timeline they would like, Currently, I am providing some accessibility features (closed captions and comprehensive alt text).

In Agreement with an Accessibility Checker in Storyline 360. Thank you all for your dedication to this project!

I see this is a fairly old thread, however, I'd like to give it some new life and make the dev team of Articulate aware that Microsoft's Powerpoint does have an accessibility checker already built-in to their product. Perhaps making accessibility a priority for content creators would be a bigger benefit than initially realized.
