I did a quick test on the keyboard shortcuts, e.g. Ctrl+Alt+. (period) to move to the next slide. This only works if you've enabled the in-built 'Prev' and 'Next' buttons and not if you've created your own navigation buttons.
So, if you've created your own navigation buttons, then you'll need to add appropriate 'when the use presses Ctrl+Alt+.' and 'when the use presses Ctrl+Alt+,' triggers (with any appropriate conditions) to all slides to enable the keyboard navigation shortcuts and associated instructions (Shift+?).
