Add functionality in web object (PDF)
Hello Team,
Hope you are doing well.
We are currently working on project in which a PDF is embedded as web object on one of the slide & our client is specifically is looking for below request.
i.e. "Embed the PDF into the slide and force learner to scroll all the way through the document, Do not let learner advance until they have scrolled to the end of the file".
we have done with the 1st past of embedding the PDF as web object & scroll is bar is also appearing but we are stuck at 2nd part which is "Do not let learner advance until they have scrolled to the end of the file".
Storyline file with working 1st part is attached, so you can go through it.
Could you please help us to find the best possible solution in order to add this functionality?
Thanks in advance.

Abhishekshinde- DavidSteele1 I remember this being a requirement to force the learner to read the PDF and reach the end before enabling the next course of action.
This is complex but doable, as it requires custom JavaScript with two-way communication between the Web Object hosting the PDF and Storyline in order to accurately track progress and completion state.
I implemented this solution quite some time ago, and it has been working as expected (see below).
If anyone needs assistance with this, please start a new topic describing your specific scenario, or feel free to contact me directly at mailto:nedim.ramic@gmail.com so we can work through the details.
Hello Abhishek,
Thanks for reaching out!
There isn't a built-in way to make embedded web objects mandatory in Storyline 360, but some members of the community have shared solutions which involve Javascript to accomplish this task. You can check out their solutions here if you're interested.

This thread appears to be gone. I am currently trying to achieve the same thing and looking for some guidance. Thanks!
