Adding background image in rise affects padding
Hi there, I have 2 blocks attached. This dispays fine when using a flat background colour (image1), but when I add an image to the background of the 2nd block, it pushes all the content down (image2). Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Mark,
Do you have a review link to this course by chance? If possible, I want to see if it looks the same on my end, or if it may be a browser issue.

Hi. I am no Rise expert, but I would say middle of the range. As far as I'm aware, you will need to layer your images outside of Rise (for basic ideas - use PowerPoint, Storyline. or any more sophisticated options), then upload to Rise as one background image. I don't think Rise can do layering, so it sees them as two seperate images that cannot be merged. I am sure someone more experienced can correct me if I am wrong. I have never seen the option to layer on Rise.
Hello MarkBrierley-fe,
Thanks for reaching out! This behavior you're seeing with the connected Text and Accordion Blocks is related to a bug we are currently tracking. I've added your voice to the report. In the meantime, we're recommending folks remove background images to avoid this behavior.
We'll share updates in this thread as soon as a fix is available so everyone stays in the loop!

Thanks Luciana. I presume this isn't fixed yet? We need to get our work off to our client soon 🤞
Hi MarkBrierley-fe,
Thanks for following up. I'm happy to chime in!
We're still working on a fix for this issue and will update this discussion as soon as we have any news to share.
In the meantime, we continue to recommend removing the background image as a temporary workaround.
