Adding "Continue" button to Rise Quiz
Hello.
I have a lesson that comes after a Quiz to wrap up the module and thank the student for participating. However, there is no way to add a "Continue" button in a block for a quiz.
I do not want my students to be able to navigate freely using the sidebar, so I have that options set to "Closed."
Quizzes are considered "lessons" so why is there no option to add Block functionality? This feature was just rolled out for all other lesson types just last week, so how did Quizzes miss the cut?
What are my options here? I do see that others have asked the same question in the forums but I am on a tight delivery schedule and need to have this addressed ASAP. I also see a workaround that someone offered using Storyline, but I do not want to go through that unless it is absolutely necessary.
This feature should be in Rise.
Thank you.
Dave

Julie,
This happened to me. I figured out the issue. You have to preview the whole course and not just the quiz to see it. It won’t show if you are just previewing the quiz.

Thanks - I did preview the whole course. The quiz is the third last topic - so you can see in the image that I have completed everything up to and including the quiz - with two more topics to go. So I have previewed it a number of times and also published to review. Still does not show the CONTINUE button.
Hi Julie! To be sure, did you select the continue button on the quiz settings page, as shown below?
If so and you're still not seeing the continue button on your quiz results page, our team would love to take a closer look. Please send us your course Share link privately by opening a case.

Hi - yes I have changed the settings for the Quiz to show Continue Button. I have opened a case. Thanks.

Thanks - all fixed. Super fast support!
It was my fault - I don't use the Previous & Next Buttons - so had to turn that on in Settings and it works perfectly.
Thanks for finally releasing this feature - it has made my client very happy! Today was pretty much my last day to find a solution that didn't suck - so the release of this has been very timely.
A BIG thankyou to everyone in the Articulate Community for pushing to get this feature released!!!

Julie...I have always had my Previous and Next button functionality turned on, yet I do not see the "Continue" button at the end of my quiz.
I previewed the entire lesson in Review 360 (not just the quiz) and it is not there. Did you do anything else other than enable the Previous and Next buttons?

Alyssa....I have noticed that when previewing the entire course in Review 360 the post-quiz continue button does not show. I am only able to see it after exporting the entire course and uploading to a test site in SCORM Cloud.
Is there any way that this button can appear in Review 360 to make it more efficient? Having to export the file and then import it to SCORM Cloud or similar site seems like a bit much for a simple preview.Hi David,
This is shown in Preview and in Review 360.

I would suggest verifying the following:
- You are previewing the whole course and not a particular section of the Quiz.
- You have published the latest version to Review 360.
If you're still having trouble, can you please try clearing your web browse cache? Here are a couple of ways of doing that based on the browser you're using:Next, you can try logging out and using the Incognito or Safe Mode of your browser to make sure you're not experiencing any browser conflicts. Let me know if that helps!

Hi. Can we edit the Continue button that appears on quiz results page? If not, shouldn't it at least be all caps to match the default CONTINUE button block text.
Ideally, would want ability to customize it to whatever text I want.
Thank you.

Hi - Crystal answered this previously:
You can make the text for this button all caps by going to your course settings, choosing Labels, and adjusting it under the Quiz & Knowledge Check section.Hope this helps.

Hi Paul! Thanks for reaching out!
Can you please check that you're previewing the whole course and not a particular section of the Quiz?
If you're viewing a published version, please make sure you have published the latest version to Review 360 or exported it recently.

Hi Mitch!
From your screenshots, I can see you selected the continue button on the quiz settings page, and you turned on the previous and next buttons in the course settings. You're almost there!
Now, you just need to add another lesson after the quiz. It could be a "Conclusion" lesson letting the learner know the course is finished.Once you've added a lesson after the quiz, preview the entire course. Then you should see the continue button!

So there is no way to do this without adding additional information that does not need to be there? What a pity, i guess that is the limitations though -_-

Hi,
I was able to do it in a way described above however this still is not something I am looking for - and I believe there are more users like me. Good to have option to see 'Continue' button if there is a lesson after quiz. However what would be really useful is to actually be able to just add button which is a block (or any other blocks) like in Lesson. For instance to add interactive block to exit course after quiz etc or to add some details after quiz. As there is no option to edit/add quiz summary/note in the quiz functionality itself.
So, I guess the question about adding Button as a block in/after quiz is still valid and it would be great to have that feature. Thanks

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback on this feature, Michal! I shared this with my team and we'll let you know if we release something that will help!
Hi Joane! Is the quiz the final lesson in your course? If so, you won't see the Continue button. Add another lesson after the quiz, and that will trigger the Continue button on the quiz results screen.

Hi Alyssa, I did add a lesson after my Knowledge Check and still no Continue button. I ended up having to turn off my sidebar completely to trigger the Continue button on the quiz results screen. Even with the added lesson (which I called Conclusion) after the knowledge check. Not having the sidebar available to learners is concerning, so if there's a workaround, please share!
