Advancing slides in an Escape Room (not wanting to use NEXT and PREV)
I have a newbie-struggle.
I am creating an Escape room activity in Storyline 3, but I don't want the user to be able to use the NEXT and PREV button. So I disabled them - see image.
I want the user to click on the arrow (some slides) or on the clues (hyperlinked areas / triggers) in the slide. It only works when I have the PREV and NEXT buttons ticked. The moment I untick - none of my hyperlinked shapes are working.
Any suggestions - please.

Hi, Irene.
I'm happy you followed Judy's advice (thank you, Judy!) and contacted our support team!
I just wanted to add a quick note: it looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove it by clicking ‘Edit’ below your response. Here’s a quick Peek 360 video if you need help.

Hi, Irene,
That's what is politely referred to as "unexpected behavior." Jump-to-slide triggers attached to on-slide objects should work whether or not the built-in Prev and Next buttons are available.
I suggest you contact Articulate's support staff directly. You can do that here:

In my experience, they're quite responsive. And they will discretely handle your file.
