AI function constantly disappearing

the AI functions disappear several times per day. I have a couple workarounds that fix the issue at times - like opening a new Storyline file, or opening another Storyline file. However, frequently I have to completely shut down my computer altogether.

I see from other discussions that I am not the only one having this issue. It really needs urgent addressing as it heavily effects productivity.

Is there a new solution I am not aware of?

    So sorry to hear that Storyline's AI Assistant is behaving so erratically!

    I'm happy to help troubleshoot, and have some follow-up questions to get us started:

    • Are you working with locally-stored .story files? Authoring directly off of a network drive may introduce unexpected behavior such as this.
    • Have you already performed a repair of your Storyline installation?
    • If possible, can you test the behavior on a separate internet network to see if the issue persists? Since AI Assistant features rely on cloud connectivity, this can help rule out any firewall or corporate network restrictions.
    • Does this issue occur across all .story files, or just one project in particular?
