AI Text-to-Speech breaks slide interactions (buttons become unresponsive)
After generating AI Text-to-Speech audio in Storyline 360 version 1.116.36776.0, slide interactions stop working in the published output.
The same slide works correctly before generating the AI voice. After AI Text-to-Speech is added, buttons/hotspots become unresponsive.
In the browser console, I see this warning:
“Blocked aria-hidden on an element because its descendant retained focus. The focus must not be hidden from assistive technology users.”
The affected element is a slide object/vector shape used as an interactive button/hotspot. It appears to receive focus while one of its ancestors has aria-hidden="true".
This seems to suggest that AI Text-to-Speech may be causing an accessibility/focus issue in the published output, where an interactive object is incorrectly hidden from assistive technology while still retaining focus, breaking the click interaction.
