AI Text to speech crashing

Hi I hope someone can help. I need to use text to speech on all text in our courses and it has been really good. But recently my Storyline 360 AI Text to Speech function has started misbehaving.

When I try to click on any of the sliders in the Advanced Settings panel it instantly closes the dialogue box before I can make any change. Without being able to adjust the settings the voice doesn't sound the way we like it.

I have tried many times to save my work and shutdown SL and then restart sometimes that works but mostly not.

Any one else have this issue or any ideas on what I can do to correct it?

    Hi Steven
Yes the repair seems to have rectified the issue. thank you

  • Hi JulieTaylor-3a8!

Sorry to hear AI Text-to-Speech is causing Storyline to behave erratically!

Is this behavior occurring across all Storyline projects? If so, first confirm you are working locally, then please try a repair of your Storyline installation. However, if this issue is specific to one file, there's a possibility the file may have encountered some form of data corruption. If this is the case, do you mind sharing a copy of the affected .story file so we can have a closer look?

Feel free to upload that here in the discussion or privately through a support case. We'll delete it as soon as we're done testing!

      Hi Steven

Thank you for your advice it seems to be affecting other files also funnily enough not straight away but after a few uses. I will try to see if IT have time to reload Storyline.
