AI Text to speech not updating closed captions
When I create a new AI text-to-speech file it adds captions just fine. *
But when I go to update that file on the timeline, even with the "generate CC" box checked, it still has the old captions.

Hi JillJo,
Sorry to hear that you're also experiencing this issue.
I can confirm that we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug causes:
- Updating AI & Standard Text-to-Speech does not update the corresponding closed captions.
This behavior does not occur for AI Text-to-Speech if Articulate Localization is enabled. However, this issue occurs consistently for standard Text-to-Speech, regardless of Articulate Localization enablement.
I've included your voice in the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is ready. In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest:
- Select the Audio from the Slide or Timeline.
- On the top ribbon, navigate to Audio Tools: Options > Closed Captions.
- Delete the existing closed captions.
- Apply the 'Generate with AI option' to create updated closed captions.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
