AI Text to speech not updating closed captions

When I create a new AI text-to-speech file it adds captions just fine. * But when I go to update that file on the timeline, even with the "generate CC" box checked, it still has the old captions. ...

    Hello everyone! 

    Happy to share that we've just released a new update for AI Assistant!

    In our September 15th Update, we've included essential fixes and new features. We've released a fix for: 

    • Closed captions for AI text-to-speech in Storyline 360 weren’t updated after the narration was edited.

     

    Rise 360 updates automatically, so new features and fixes are available immediately. To access the newest enhancements for Storyline 360, install the latest version by opening the Articulate 360 desktop app and clicking Update.

I just discovered this on one of my projects.. This means that I may have thousands of audio elements with the wrong CC and that I can't trust Storyline to update ANY CC going forward.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've also encountered this issue. I completely understand the frustration.

    Manually removing and regenerating captions for each audio element creates a significant amount of work, so the current workaround may not be practical for larger-scale builds.

    I’ve added your feedback to our bug report so the impact on larger projects is clear to our team. We’ll let you know as soon as a fix is available to ship.
