AI Text to speech voice not matching

I have been using the Liam voice in a project I am working on and I just recently added some new text to speech into my project but the voice is now sounding completely different and not matching the rest of my project. I did not change any settings and am still using the same Liam voice. Is there something I can do so that the voices all match? I even tried to generate some of the older slides again but the voice is still not matching.

I attached two of the clips from the project so you can hear the difference. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hi TracyRaya,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand the voice in your project has recently started sounding different, and I’m happy to provide some context. Storyline 360 currently uses the newest voice model (v3) by default when generating AI narration.

While there isn’t a way to change the default model, you can select an earlier version each time you generate audio. Here’s how:

    1. Open the AI text-to-speech window.
    2. Advanced settings.
    3. Next to Model, select Multilingual v2.
    4. Select Generate to preview the voice again.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, and if you have any questions!
