AI voices following the latest Storyline 360 update
- 15 days ago
Hello everyone!
Happy to share that we've just released new updates for Storyline 360 and AI Assistant!
In Update 117, we've included essential fixes and new features. We've released a fix for:
- The text-to-speech feature defaulted to the Laura voice, even when another voice was chosen.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
This did not work for me.
Hi LynnKurtz-992f7,
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble applying the workaround shared by Annie.
I've recorded a quick Peek to help illustrate the proper steps. Please let me know if this works for you.
Also, I've included your voice in the bug report that's being tracked, so we can notify you as soon as a fix is ready!

Hi,
Do you have a timeline as to when the bug will be fixed?
Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to make a video. The issue I'm having is adding audio to a subsequent slide. When I follow the instructions, I only have the option of replacing the audio for the slide I chose (on the left, underneath the voice name), not adding the same voice to a new slide. For example, I use Matilda's voice on slide 1.1. Then, I want to add audio to slide 1.2, using Matilda again. When I click Insert Audio > Text-to-Speech, it defaults back to Laura. I click Matilda's name on the left, then select the audio for 1.1. I delete the text in the Script box and add the text for slide 1.2. I click generate, but there isn't an option to inert the new audio into slide 1.2; there's only an option to replace the audio on slide 1.1.

Hi, LynnKurtz-992f7!
I'm happy to jump in here. I see from your screenshot that there's only the option to replace the audio, not insert new. Does this happen even after selecting New Voiceover? I checked out StevenBenassi demo, and he touched upon this around the 35 second mark. I want to double-check I understand the steps you've taken before providing next steps!

Additionally, our team is working on a fix and we'll update you as soon as we have news!
