Animation - Sequence by Paragraph Not Available/Working

Hi Wade,

You must add an "enter" key before applying the animation or else it won't work.

And by the way, Shift + Enter key is not considered as a new paragraph and it won't work.

Correction to my previous comment, Enter Key will work even if you have applied the animation prior to the enter key setup.

I did use the enter key to start each new bullet/line.  I have even added a new text box and added several lines of text using enter to initiate each new line.  I cannot get the "By Paragraph" to activate on anything.

The course file is fairly large (79mb) so I have just extracted a few slides to highlight where I am finding the issue. Please see my attachment for an extract containing a few of the slide examples. Beginning on slide 3, I have text with bullets where I am unable to animate by each section as desired.

I see that your text boxes are set to animate by paragraph, and I recorded a quick Peek to show you what I'm seeing.

I'm curious if you would be able to share what you see so that we can better understand.

Thank you sooo  much for taking the time to look at this...  Your Peek video totally helped me realize the user error on my part.  I am seeing what you highlighted.  I did not notice the slight blue shading when selecting and changing between the paragraph grouping vs. all at once.  I was looking at the brackets around all at once and assumed that was denoting the selection.  Those brackets are part of the image, however - totally my fault!  I also did not pick up on the small arrow to get to the granular detail of each bullet item.  I was looking for that expanded view and forgot/didn't realize I would have to expand to see the sub-items.

In short, all is well.  I can't thank you enough for the help you provided.  I am sorry I did not catch this earlier on my own, but sure do appreciate the help!

Hi I have a similar issue here, My text box does contain several sections with Enter in between, but the option to select by object or paragraph is not available (please see screencapture attached). I use this animation by paragraph in several other slides and it always works well... Mystery!
