Animation in Storyline through the Morph Transition
- 10 months ago
Hello everyone, 🎉
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 98, we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:
- Engage learners with fluid transitions that seamlessly animate objects, shapes, and other content between slides.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
do you want a morph animation or a morph transition ?
- morph animation (svg based) could be done with gsap (included in storyline) - not a big deal**
- but for morph transition from one slide (with any content) to each other slide (with any content) there is no solution in browser available - I know only tools which creates videos*.
* if anyone knows solutions in other programms, which works at runtime in the browser - please post the urls here in the forum
** only shape animations
Although you are partly right about GSAP morph...it can morph Storyline shapes.. as i shown in several samples... but it can also morph SVG. When you copy/paste SVG Illustrator elements to Storyline, ungroup them they will be shapes... and thus you then can use GSAP Morph on them.

Great! Two questions:
1. Where can we find your code and examples?
2. Does this require a paid subscription to a plug-in, or is this code we can use in Storyline without a plug-in (free)?

You need a club Greensock plan, then you get all plugins. I have it since 2011.
