Any way to import a 4:3 template "as is" into a 16:9 template?

Hi all!
Quick question that I've seen nothing on:

I have roughly 20 fun AS 4:3 templates that look awful when redimensioned to 16:9. I simply don't have the time to re-size the various objects.

Is there any workaround that will let me import a 4:3 slide into a 16:9 project without changing anything (i.e. in full awareness that the left and right ends of the screen will simply remain blank)?

The only workaround I can think of is publishing the 4:3 content and embedding it in web objects in the 16:9 project, but I'd greatly prefer to include the actual slides in the projects.

Thanks for any tips!
Cheers,
G

  • Here's a quick alternative: Change the 4:3 project to 16:9 without scaling the content.

That will keep the original content in its original position, with blank space on the left and right.

  • Thanks so  much - I am so silly to never even have SEEN that button before.

    Will do this right now.
