Hi BridgitteLi if the you publish the content to a single package, you should be able to just update the Player.LanguageCode variable value with the target language code. See the attached simple example.
Our company uses cornerstone LMS and we translate to 20 languages for the global content, so 20 translated versions. We need to be able to report the usage of each of the different language modules. So if we now create just one module with multiple languages, is it possible to report on each language version used?

Hi DarrenNash! When you publish a multi-language Storyline 360 course to your LMS, the language your learner selects is passed along if your LMS supports that field. Here’s how it works across standards:
- AICC: cmi.learner_preference.language
- SCORM 1.2: cmi.student_preference.language
- SCORM 2004: cmi.learner_preference.language
- xAPI/cmi5: context.language
Check with your LMS admin to confirm whether those fields are supported.
Right now, there isn’t a way to set a default language in Storyline 360 when the course loads. But your LMS, like Cornerstone, might offer that kind of setting.
