Articulate not sending right responses to LMS
Hi guys,
I'm having trouble with Articulate 360 not sending the right responses answered by learners to the LMS if it do one of this actions:
- close and reopen browser tab
- close and reopen browser window
- leave and reenter the course
If the learner does one of this actions mentioned above, the questions answered correctly before this are not send to the LMS, and it marks this questions as "wrong" even if the learner get it right. Beyond that, the LMS does not receive information about this questions on cmi.interactions, in the LMS reports this questions don't even are shown.
Here's a video troubleshooting this: https://youtu.be/smKcePJkxr8
Here's the debug log from SCORMCloud: https://app.cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/ViewDebugLog?logId=b893b4d6-cee4-4725-a4cd-5166f44afc41&courseTitle=certification
Our SCORMs are published on version 2004.4th edition and this happens either on our LMS and on SCORMCloud enviroment, both on Google Chrome browser and Mozilla Firefox.
The only modification I made on the SCORM is changing the <var FORCED_COMMIT_TIME> to <"=10000">
I'm adding the .story file and the SCORM to this topic.
I appreciate any help on this case.

The score should have been reported regardless after the browser was closed when first few questions were answered. I only see 0%. I also see that the result slide is set to only score viewed questions. Although, these questions are technically "viewed", they are actually not viewed by the result slide until the result slide is reached. That's why the questions answered correctly are marked as "incorrect" as the result slide is trying to match the first session score of 0%, and start calculating score for remaining questions. To fix this issue "Only score viewed questions" need to be unchecked in the Quiz Settings.

after a short test - exactly the same happens outside LMS with "Publish to web"
test:
- Q1 correct
- Q2 correct
- reload test
- starts with Q3 (ok)
- Q3 ... Q10 correct
- result 80% <- wrong valueas long as articulate has not fixed the bug you should
- deactivate "resume" in the player settings

Hello Jürgen, thank you for the reply!
I cant deactivate this setting because it's crucial learners can resume their progress if loose internet connection, leave the course, close window or browsers tab.
I'll open a support case as your suggestion.
Thanks a lot!

Hello Sabrina,
Good call on opening a support case! I can see that my colleague Carlo has started troubleshooting the behavior you're experiencing. Your case is in good hands, and we'll continue this conversation there.

yes - this solves the problem (tested with publish to web)
@articulate: you should add this side effect (with the resume function) to your instructions
