Articulate on Mac

As an admin I know I have to create a virtual environment in order to even access/use the application but once I have as the admin will all my users have to do the same thing or is there an alternative way for my learners to see/complete the learnings? I can hardly believe my entire sales field has to download the additional virtual environment as well right?! 

I sure wish after all this time Articulate would make this process more accessible on MACs - super frustrated!!
