Assigning heading levels to "special" text

We like the look of the text on image for creating headers, but the text currently can't be designated as a header for screen readers. It would be really nice if we could have that option. The same goes for the various statement types. The variety of visual formatting options is nice, but they all sound like regular body text when read by a screen reader.

I've also noticed that accordion titles ARE being read as headers by my screen reader when they shouldn't be--this messes with the intended hierarchy of the course content.

  • Hi there.

Thanks for sharing your idea about being able to designate blocks as headers for screen readers. We appreciate the feedback.

I would love to hear more about the accordion block. When you use a screen reader and go through the accordion block, how does it mess up the hierarchy of the course?
